| Abstract: | Cílem bakalářské práce je komparace finanční situace a chování domácností v České republice a ve Spojených státech amerických v letech 2011 až 2021. Teoretická část se zabývá teoriemi popisujícími velikost přijmu domácností, jejich spotřebu a také úspory. V praktické části je analyzován disponibilní důchod, zadlužení, rozdělení majetku, spotřeba a úspory domácností. Rovněž je analyzována závislost spotřeby a úspor na čistém disponibilním důchodu domácností. Data pro Českou republiku byla získána ze stránek České národní banky a Českého statistického úřadu, pro Spojené státy americké ze stránek Federálního rezervního systému a Úřadu ekonomické analýzy. Statistické výpočty byly provedeny pomocí MS Excel. Analýza zjistila větší citlivost amerických domácností při tvorbě úspor v ekonomických cyklech. |

| Abstract: | The aim of the bachelor thesis is to compare the financial situation and behaviour in the Czech Republic and the United States of America between 2011 and 2021. The theoretical part deals with theories describing the size of households' income, as well as their consumption and savings. The practical part analyses disposable income, debt, asset distribution, consumption and savings of households. The dependence of consumption and savings on household net disposable income is also analysed. Data for the Czech Republic were obtained from the Czech National Bank and the Czech Statistical Office, and for the United States from the Federal Reserve and the Bureau of Economic Analysis. Statistical calculations were performed using MS Excel. The analysis found a greater sensitivity of US households to savings in economic cycles. |
