| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na shrnutí všech známých a podstatných faktorů, které hrají roli v tématu diskriminace na trhu práce mezi muži a ženami a uvádí současné přístupy a poznatky, které se dají v tomto tématu aplikovat. Rovněž je zde reflektována teorie genderových stereotypů a teorie genderových odlišností, společně s biologickými a dalšími faktory. Na základě zjištění z teoretické části bylo provedeno dotazníkové šetření, které se zaměřovalo na zkušenosti matek s diskriminací, přerušením pracovní kariéry, rozdělení péče o děti a odůvodnění těchto rozhodnutí. Tato práce tak může pomoci všem, které zajímá současný stav rozdílů v odměňování mezi muži a ženami a které také zajímají motivace, jež často za těmito rozdíly stojí. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor thesis aims to summarize all known and relevant factors that play a role in the topic of gender discrimination in the labour market and presents current approaches and findings that can be applied to this topic. Gender stereotype theory and gender difference theory are also reflected, along with biological and other factors. Based on the findings from the theoretical section, a questionnaire survey was conducted to explore mothers' experiences of discrimination, career interruption, splitting childcare and the rationale behind these decisions. This work can thus be of help to anyone interested in the current state of the gender pay gap and who is also interested in the motivations that often underlie it. |
