| Abstract: | Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou veřejné podpory divadel a srovnáním vzorku divadel s rozdílným zřizovatelem. V teoretické části popisuje historické ukotvení systému veřejné podpory, druhy financování divadla a jeho právní formy a konkrétní možnosti grantů a dotací pro divadla. V praktické části se zaměřuje na soběstačnost a efektivitu vybraného vzorku divadel v období od roku 2017 do roku 2021. Zkoumá divadla nejen jako samostatnou jednotku, ale i v porovnání s jinými divadly a dostupnými daty za celou Českou republiku. Pro lepší pochopení struktury a aktuálního stavu divadel je využíván business model canvas. |

| Abstract: | This thesis discusses the issue of public support for theatres and the comparison among a sample of theatres with various founders. The theoretical part describes the historical anchoring of the public support system, the types of theatre financing and its legal forms of business organisations, and the specific possibilities of grants and subsidies for theatres. The practical part of the thesis focuses on the self-sufficiency and efficiency of the selected sample of theatres over the period between 2017 and 2021. Furthermore, it examines theatres not only as an independent entity, but also in comparison to other theatres as well as available data for the Czech Republic. The Business Model Canvas is used to better understand the structure and current state of theatres. |
