| Abstract: | Otázka společenské odpovědnosti firem je v dnešní době rezonujícím tématem. Problematika se netýká pouze velkých nadnárodních společností, ale také středních podniků v České republice. Bakalářská práce si klade za cíl objasnit a zhodnotit společensky odpovědné aktivity firmy Ostravské vodárny a kanalizace a.s. a následně sestavit nefinanční CSR report. Po obeznámení se s historickým kontextem konceptu CSR, s oblastmi CSR a také s přínosy, které firmě z odpovědného chování plynou, práce dále objasňuje téma společensky odpovědného reportu a s ním spojené standardy, dle kterých je možné report sestavit. Základ praktické části práce je tvořen sekundárními a primárními daty. K získání primárních dat je využita kvantitativní metoda, a sice dotazníkové šetření, ve kterém tvoří reprezentativní vzorek zaměstnanci zvolené firmy. Na základě získaných dat a literární rešerše je sestaven CSR report, zpracovaný s odkazem na standardy GRI. |

| Abstract: | The question of corporate social responsibility is currently a resonating topic. The matter is not only relevant to large multinational companies, but also to medium-sized companies in the Czech Republic. The aim of the bachelor's thesis was to clarify and evaluate the CSR activities of the company Ostravské vodárny a kanalizace a.s. and subsequently compile a non-financial CSR report. The thesis provides an overview of the historical context of the CSR concept, the areas of CSR and also the benefits that the company derives from responsible behavior. Furthermore, the topic of a CSR report and the related standards, according to which the report can be compiled, were explained. The practical part of the thesis was based on secondary and primary data. To obtain primary data a quantitative methods were used by using a questionnaire survey, where a representative sample was composed of employees of the company. Based on the collected data and literature review, a CSR report was compiled with reference to the GRI standards. |
