Energy crisis and transformation of the energy sector: analysis of impact on energy-heavy industries in Germany and Czech Republic

| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá analýzou významných témat na poli energetiky, kterými je od roku 2021 probíhající energetická krize a plánovaná energetická transformace a vliv těchto témat na firmy v energeticky náročných odvětvích. V teoretické části práci je popsána problematika zmíněných témat, zjištěné poznatky jsou následně využity v praktické části práce, kde jsou prostřednictvím analýzy PESTLE zjišťovány faktory vlivem energetické krize a energetické transformace firmy ovlivňující, u zjištěných faktorů je provedena analýza rizik, při které je zjištěna významnost jednotlivých faktorů a navrženo doporučení pro firmy, jak s faktory pracovat. Z provedené analýzy vyplynulo, že jak energetická krize, tak energetická transformace významně zasahují do fungování firem a že bez přípravy a aktivního řešení této problematiky mohou být firmy ohroženy. Analyzovány byly dopady ve 2 zemích, a to v České republice a v Německu, přičemž bylo zjištěno, že rozdíly mezi zeměmi nejsou významné, jelikož u obou témat se jedná spíše o evropskou než národní problematiku. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor thesis deals with the current topics in the field of energetics, the current energy crisis, and the future energy transformation and impact of these on businesses in energy-heavy industries. In the theoretical part of the thesis, the topics are described, and these findings are used in the analytic part of the thesis, where using the PESTLE analysis, the factors resulting from the energy crisis and transformation are discussed, and these factors are further analyzed using a risk analysis assessing the potential impact of the factor on businesses in the industry, and recommendations are presented for businesses to deal with the factors. The analysis results showed that both the energy crisis and energy transformation heavily impact businesses, and without proper preparation and consideration of these topics, businesses could be seriously threatened. Analysis was performed jointly for the Czech Republic and Germany and found that the difference in impact between the two countries is not very significant, and both topics are European issues rather than solely national. |
