| Abstract: | Cílem této bakalářské práce je pomocí metod finanční analýzy zhodnotit ekonomický vývoj společnosti MARLENKA International s. r. o. v letech 2016–2020 s využitím veřejně dostupných dat z účetních výkazů společnosti. V teoretické části jsou nejdříve definovány základní pojmy a metody finanční analýzy, které jsou následně aplikovány na analyzovanou společnost v praktické části. V rámci této praktické části je také provedeno srovnání MARLENKA International s. r. o. s oborovým konkurentem VIZARD s. r. o. Z metod finanční analýzy se využívá analýza absolutních ukazatelů, analýza poměrových ukazatelů, analýza pracovního kapitálu a Du Pontův rozklad rentability vlastního kapitálu. Následně je práce doplněna o bankrotní a bonitní modely za účelem posouzení finančního zdraví společnosti. V závěru bakalářské práce dochází k posouzení vhodnosti dosavadní finanční strategie MARLENKA International s. r. o. prostřednictvím definování silných a slabých stránek, které slouží jako základ k navržení výsledných doporučení pro společnost. |

| Abstract: | The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to evaluate the economic development of the company MARLENKA International s. r. o. in the years 2016–2020, using publicly available data from the company's financial statements and methods of financial analysis. First, in the theoretical part, the basic concepts and methods of financial analysis are defined, which are subsequently applied to the analysed company in the practical part. The practical part also contains a comparison between MARLENKA International s. r. o. and its industry competitor VIZARD s. r. o. The financial analysis methods used in this thesis include analysis of absolute indicators, analysis of ratio indicators, working capital analysis and Du Pont analysis of return on equity. Furthermore, bankruptcy and creditworthiness models are applied to assess the financial health of the company. Finally, in the conclusion, the appropriateness of the current financial strategy of MARLENKA International s. r. o. is assessed by defining the strengths and weaknesses, which serve as the basis for proposing final recommendations for the company. |
