| Abstract: | Účelem této diplomové práce je zjistit, jak lze uchopit koncept Water Smart City v hlavním městě Praze. Cílem je zjistit, jak koncept Water Smart City může přispět k rozvoji podnikatelského prostředí v hlavním městě Praze a zda je možné hledat inspiraci i v zahraničí. Celková práce je rozdělena na dvě části, na část teoretickou a praktickou. Teoretická část se věnuje základním pojmům týkajícím se konceptu Smart City a dále se soustředí na vodní hospodářství v tomto konceptu. Praktická část se věnuje analýze vodního hospodářství v Praze, zahraničním příkladům Water Smart City a pražským a evropským strategiím věnujícím se tématům chytrého a udržitelného hospodaření s vodou. Poté byla provedena analýza příležitostí pro podniky na základně předchozích poznatků. Příležitosti byly rozděleny do čtyř částí: technologie na šetrné zacházení s vodou, zachycování dešťové vody, recyklace vody a vodní hospodářství v Praze. V závěru je vyhodnocení dané práce. |

| Abstract: | The purpose of this master’s thesis is to find out how to grasp the concept of Water Smart City in the capital city of Prague. The aim is to find out how the Water Smart City concept can contribute to the development of the business environment in the capital city of Prague and whether there is a possibility to find inspiration abroad. The overall thesis is divided into two parts, the theoretical and the practical part. The theoretical part deals with the Smart City concept and further focuses on water resource management within the concept. The practical part is devoted to the analysis of water resource management in Prague, foreign examples of Water Smart Cities and Prague’s and European’s strategies that deal with the topics of smart and sustainable water resource management, followed by an analysis of opportunities for businesses based on previous knowledge. The opportunities were divided into four parts: water saving technologies, rainwater harvesting, water recycling, and water management in Prague. Finally, there is an evaluation of the work. |
