| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce „Environmentální aspekty činnosti Národního divadla v Praze“ se zaměřuje na udržitelnost v oblasti provozu této divadelní instituce. Cílem práce je zjistit a následně posoudit přístup Národního divadla v Praze k environmentální udržitelnosti a tématům s ní souvisejícím. Pro dosažení tohoto cíle byla nejdříve provedena analýza dopadů divadelní činnosti na životní prostředí. Následovalo zmapování informací o udržitelných opatřeních přijatých Národním divadlem v Praze uvedených na jeho webových stránkách, po kterém byl proveden kvalitativní výzkum, jehož výsledkem je případové studie vycházející ze dvou polostrukturovaných rozhovorů. Práce nejen, že shrnuje, jakým způsobem se Národní divadlo v Praze věnuje udržitelnosti ve zvolených oblastech svého provozu a jak transformuje svůj provoz na udržitelný, ale dochází v ní rovněž ke srovnání přístupu zkoumaného subjektu k tomuto tématu s přístupem Národního divadla v Londýně, které je v oblasti udržitelného divadla průkopníkem. |

| Abstract: | This Bachelor's thesis “Environmental aspects of the National Theatre in Prague" focuses on the sustainability of the theatre's operations. The goal of the thesis is to identify and review the National Theatre's approach to environmental sustainability and related areas. To achieve this goal, first an analysis of the environmental impacts of the theatre's activities was performed. Consequently, after the review of information on sustainable actions taken by the National Theatre available on the theatre's website, qualitative research was performed, resulting in a case study based on two semi- structured interviews. The thesis not only summarizes how the National Theatre in Prague addresses sustainability in selected areas of its operations and how it is transforming its operations to become sustainable, but also compares the approach of the entity in question to that of the National Theatre in London, a leading example in the field of sustainable theatre. |
