| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce řeší problematiku vývoje a oběhu římského mincovnictví chronologicky, od začátku římského království až po konec římského císařství. Cílem je analyzovat jednotlivé ekonomické aspekty mincí, teda hmotnostní standard, ryzost mincí z drahých kovů, poměry mezi základními kovy a podobně. Oběh mincí je zaměřen především na nejznámější a nejpoužívanější druhy nominálů, jako jsou denár nebo as. Práce taky charakterizuje základní prvky nejvýznamnějších reforem, definuje jejich cíle a ekonomické dopady. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor's thesis deals with the development and circulation of Roman coinage chronologically, from the beginning of the Roman Kingdom to the end of the Roman Empire. The aim is to analyse individual economic aspects of coins, i.e. weight standard, purity of coins from precious metal, ratios between base metals etc. The circulation of coins is mainly focused on the best-known and most used types of denominations, such as the denar or as. The work also characterizes the basic elements of the most important reforms, defines their goals and economic impacts. |
