| Abstract: | Diplomová práce je zaměřena na popis role pojišťovacího makléře při likvidaci pojistných událostí. Práce představuje subjekty českého pojistného trhu, které mohou distribuovat pojištění, a věnuje se legislativním a odborným personálním požadavkům vztahujícím se k dané činnosti. Dále se pak zaměřuje na pojišťovací makléře a jejich roli a významu na pojistném trhu. V práci je vyložen průběh likvidace pojistných událostí, a to jak v obecné rovině, tak z pohledu makléře, a jsou zde vysvětleny pojmy související s touto významnou každodenní aktivitou pojišťoven. Právě procesu likvidace je pak věnována závěrečná část této diplomové práce, kde jsou popsány praktické příklady pojistných událostí a jejich likvidace s přihlédnutím na postup výpočtu plnění a úlohu pojišťovacího makléře. Příklady škod jsou ilustrovány z oblasti neživotního pojištění, konkrétně pak z pojištění majetku a odpovědnosti. |

| Abstract: | The diploma thesis is focused on the description of the role of an insurance broker in the settlement of claims. The emphasis is placed on the entities of the Czech insurance market that can distribute insurance policies, and deals with legal and professional personnel requirements related to the individual activity. Additionally, this thesis addresses insurance brokers in terms of their role and key importance in the insurance market. Attention will focus on the process of the settlement of claims, both in general terms and from broker’s individual perspective, while the concepts related to this day-to-day activity of insurers is simultaneously included. The final part provides readers with detailed practical examples of insured events and their settlements while the precise procedure of calculation of the indemnity and key role of an insurance broker in this process are being included. Examples of each claim are illustrated from the field of non-life insurance, specifically property and liability insurance. |
