| Abstract: | Abstrakt Cílem této bakalářské práce je prostřednictvím analýzy nákladnosti údržby vybraných zvláště chráněných území hlavního města Prahy v období 2010-2020 ověřit, zda je levnější spravovat tato území pastvou či sečí. Práce zabývající se tématem finanční efektivity správy u trvalých travních porostů na chráněných území v Praze nebyla dosud zpracována, a je proto vhodné takovou práci vypracovat, a to zejména kvůli zjištění efektivnosti současných postupů. Pomocí kombinace analýzy údajů získaných z příslušných smluv pro sledovaná území v rámci let 2010 až 2020 a údajů zjištěných z osobních rozhovorů se podařilo zjistit, že seč je oproti pastvě dlouhodobě a výrazně dražší o více než 20 %. Vedle ekonomického přínosu, který byl touto prací u pastvy potvrzen, ale enviromentální přidaná hodnota oproti seči potvrzena nebyla. Na základě zpracované analýzy je možné doporučit magistrátu hlavního města Prahy, aby provedl revizi smluv trvalých travních porostů, kde probíhá seč, a navrhl alternativu formou pastvy. Tento přechod na pastvu by mohl přispět ke snížení výdajů vynaložených z rozpočtu hlavního města Prahy |

| Abstract: | Abstract The aim of this bachelor thesis is to verify, through an analysis of the maintenance costs of selected specially protected areas in the capital city of Prague during the period of 2010-2020, whether it is more cost-effective to manage these areas through grazing or mowing. There has not yet been any previous research on financial efficiency in managing permanent grasslands within protected areas in Prague, making it appropriate to undertake such a study, particularly to assess the effectiveness of current practices. Combining data analysis from relevant contracts for the monitored areas between 2010 and 2020 and using data obtained from personal interviews, it was found that mowing is consistently and significantly more expensive by over 20% compared to grazing. While this study confirmed the economic benefits of grazing, no confirmed environmental added value compared to mowing was found. Based on the analysis conducted, it is possible to recommend to Prague City Hall to review the contracts for permanent grasslands where mowing is currently implemented and propose an alternative in the form of grazing. This transition to grazing could contribute to reducing the expenditures from the budget of the capital city of Prague. |
