| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na detailní analýzu fungování currency boardu, a to konkrétně na příkladě bulharského leva. Práce nejprve uvádí čtenáře do problematiky currency boardu, přičemž se věnuje systémům měnového kurzu, charakteristice currency boardu a také poskytuje přehled jeho aplikací v různých zemích. Poté práce popisuje ekonomický vývoj v Bulharsku a proces implementace currency boardu. Závěr práce se věnuje dopadům zavedení currency boardu na ekonomiku Bulharska, zkoumá vývoj platební bilance, úrokových sazeb, měnového kurzu a inflace. Tato studie přináší komplexní pochopení fungování currency boardu a jeho dopadů na ekonomiku Bulharska. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor thesis focuses on a detailed analysis of the functioning of the currency board, specifically on the example of the Bulgarian lev. The thesis first introduces the reader to the currency board, discussing exchange rate systems and the characteristics of the currency board, as well as providing an overview of its applications in different countries. Then the thesis describes the economic development in Bulgaria and the process of implementation of the currency board. The thesis concludes with the impact of the currency board on the Bulgarian economy, examining the development of the balance of payments, interest rates, exchange rate and inflation. This study provides a comprehensive understanding of the functioning of the currency board and its impact on the Bulgaria's economy. |
