| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce pojednává o problematice praní špinavých peněz. První část práce se zabývá vysvětlením pojmu, historií, jednotlivými fázemi, používanými metodami a negativními dopady praní špinavých peněz. Druhá část se zaměřuje na boj proti praní špinavých peněz na úrovni České republiky a Evropské unie, zmíněna je také budoucnost unijní regulace. Daná část se dále zabývá náklady finančních institucí na dodržování regulačních pravidel, známých jako AML compliance. Praktická část práce se zabývá srovnáním České republiky a Spojených států amerických na základě rizika praní špinavých peněz, k tomu je využit Basel AML Index. |

| Abstract: | The bachelor thesis discusses the issue of money laundering. The first part of this thesis explains the concept, history, individual stages, used methods and negative consequences of money laundering. The second part focuses on the fight against money laundering at the level of the Czech Republic and the European Union and also the future of EU regulation. This part also addresses the costs of financial institutions for compliance with regulatory rules, also known as AML compliance. The practical part of this thesis compares the Czech Republic and the United States of America in terms of the risk of money laundering, using the Basel AML Index. |
