| Abstract: | Práce představuje teoretická východiska regulace a dohledu finančních institucí a uvádí hlavní změny k přístupu regulace a dohledu po finanční krizi v roce 2008. V hlavní části práce jsou pak rozebírány jednotlivé modely uspořádání regulatorních a dohledových orgánů. A i přes to, že odborníci žádný konkrétní model nedoporučují, nastiňuji svou představu o kvalitním modelu institucionálním uspořádání regulace a dohledu pro rozvinuté finanční trhy. Poslední část této práce se pak zabývá funkčností systému regulace a dohledu v praxi v rámci ČR, kde je nyní dohled svěřen ČNB a ve Spojeném království, kde nalezneme model dvou vrcholů se značným vlivem Bank of England. |

| Abstract: | This thesis provides insight into the theoretical basis of regulation and supervision of financial institutions and the principal changes in regulation and supervision after the financial crisis in 2008. The main part analyses some models of regulatory and supervisory. Despite the fact that experts do not recommend any specific model, I outline my idea of a quality model of the institutional structure of regulation and supervision for well-developed financial markets. The last part of this work describes the functionality of the regulation and supervision system in practice within the Czech Republic, where supervision is now entrusted to the CNB, and in the United Kingdom, where the Twin Peaks model with considerable influence of the Bank of England is implied. |
