| Abstract: | Cílem této bakalářské práce je seznámení s pojmem rating a vysvětlení procesu jeho odhadu. Nejdříve jsou stručně uvedeny rozličné druhy ratingu a ratingové známky, které jsou konečným hodnocením bonity společností. Kromě toho jsou zmíněny tři největší světové ratingové agentury s přehledným zobrazením jejich podílů na trhu. Následně je podrobně popsána metodologie Moody’s Investors Service, kterou tato agentura využívá při hodnocení emitenta podnikajícího ve sféře kamionové a železniční nákladní přepravy. V poslední kapitole práce je tato metodika aplikována v praxi při odhadu ratingu společnosti ČD Cargo, a. s. |

| Abstract: | The aim of this bachelor thesis is to introduce the concept of rating and explain the process of its estimation. At first brief introduction is given to the different types of rating and rating grades which are the ultimate assessment of the creditworthiness of companies. In addition, the world’s three largest rating agencies are mentioned with a representation of their market shares. The methodology used by Moody’s Investors Service to rate issuers in the trucking and rail freight business is then describes in detail. In the last chapter of the thesis, this methodology is applied in the practical estimation of the rating of CD Cargo, a. s. |
