| Abstract: | Tématem této diplomové práce je analýza dopadu pandemie COVID-19 na hospodaření bank v Srbsku. První kapitola nejdříve popisuje bankovní systém v Srbsku a jeho rozvoj. Pandemie COVID-19 výrazně zasáhla finanční sektor mnoha států. Struktura bankovního trhu je nesmírně důležitým faktorem ve vývoji každé země, proto toto odvětví hraje klíčovou roli v blahobytu ekonomiky země. Slabý bankovní sektor nejen, že ohrožuje dlouhodobou udržitelnost ekonomiky, ale může být také motorem finanční krize, která může vést k hospodářské krizi. Srbský bankovní sektor prošel v posledních letech významnými změnami. Banky měly obtížný úkol získat důvěru občanů a ekonomiky během předchozích 15 let. Vzhledem k tomu, že Srbsko jako stát je málokdy prozkoumaná země a díky své historie téměř nikdy není zapojena do nějakého vědeckého výzkumu, druhá kapitola bude popisovat všeobecné makroekonomické ukazatele, abychom lepše pochopili ekonomicky obrázek Srbska. Následně třetí a čtvrtá kapitola, se bude zabývat vyhodnocení bankovního sektoru Srbska, opatřením, které zavedla Národní Banka a jejich všeobecní dopad na hospodářský výsledek bank. Ve poslední kapitole se podíváme na stupeň digitalizace bank před a po pandemie COVID-19. Cílem práce je přispět k lepšímu pochopení dopadu pandemie koronaviru na srbský bankovní sektor a rovněž upozornit na současný stav bankovního sektoru v Srbsku. Závěrem je, že pandemie koronaviru ovlivnila srbský bankovní sektor. |

| Abstract: | The topic of this thesis is the analysis of the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the banking system in Serbia. The first chapter describes the banking system in Serbia and its development. COVID-19 significantly affected the financial sector in many countries. The structure of the banking market is a crucial factor in the development of any country, therefore this sector plays a key role in the well-being of the country's economy. Problems in the banking sector are not only threat the long-term sustainability of the economy but can also be the engine of a financial crisis that can lead to an economic crisis. The Serbian banking sector has undergone significant changes in recent years. Banks have had a difficult time of gaining the trust of people over the past 15 years. Since Serbia as a country is a rarely researched country and due to its history is almost never involved in any scientific research, the second chapter will describe general macroeconomic indicators in order to better understand the economic picture of Serbia. Subsequently, the third and fourth chapters will deal with the evaluation of the banking sector of Serbia, measures introduced by the National Bank, and their general impact on the financial results of banks. In the last chapter, we will look at the level of digitization of banks before and after the COVID-19 pandemic. The aim of the work is to contribute to a better understanding of the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on the Serbian banking sector and also to draw attention to the current state of the banking sector in Serbia. The conclusion is that the coronavirus pandemic has affected the Serbian banking sector. |
