| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá účetními jednotkami vykazující cenné papíry podle českých účetních předpisů. Cílem této práce je odpovědět na výzkumné otázky, jaké cenné papíry účetní jednotky vykazují, jak je oceňují, jaké mají motivy k držbě těchto cenných papírů a zda se tyto motivy liší od motivů individuálního racionálně uvažujícího investora. Analýza dat byla provedena na vzorku 100 vybraných účetních jednotek. Výsledky ukázaly, že nejvíce vykazované cenné papíry jsou papíry zakládající majetkovou účast, držené za účelem propojení vlastnické struktury s jinými společnostmi, nejčastěji ve vztahu mateřská a dceřiná společnost. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor thesis focuses on accounting units reporting securities under the CAS. The aim of this thesis is to answer the research questions of what types of securities accounting units report, how they value them, what motives they have for holding these securities and whether these motives differ from those of an individual rational investor. The data analysis was conducted on a sample of 100 selected accounting units. The results showed that the most frequently reported securities are equity securities that are held for the purpose of linking the ownership structure with other companies, most often in a parent-subsidiary relationship. |
