| Abstract: | Diplomová práce se zabývá dluhovou krizí v eurozóně, která zasáhla některé evropské ekonomiky v letech 2009–2013. Práce se zaměřuje na porovnání Irska a Řecka s cílem najít podobnosti a odlišnosti v jednotlivých stádiích jejich vývoje v průběhu dluhové krize eurozóny. Práce je rozdělena do tří částí. První část je teoretickým východiskem práce a zabývá se charakteristikami Evropské měnové unie a vývojem těchto dvou ekonomik před krizí. Další dvě části se zaměřují na průběh krize a vývoj ekonomik po krizi, a to až do roku 2022. |

| Abstract: | The thesis deals with the debt crisis in the euro area, which affected some European economies in 2010-2013. The thesis focuses on comparing Ireland and Greece to find similarities and differences in the different stages of their development during the Eurozone debt crisis. The thesis is divided into three parts. The first part is the theoretical background of the thesis. It deals with the characteristics of the European Monetary Union, looking at the causes and evolution of the two economies before the crisis. The following two parts focus on the course of the crisis and the development of the economies after the crisis until the year 2022. |
