| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce se zabývá rodinnými firmami, konkrétně problematikou nástupnického procesu formou profesionalizace. Cílem práce je prozkoumat faktory, které brání majitelům rodinných firem v České republice v profesionalizaci. Pro naplnění cíle práce byla zvolena metoda kvalitativního dvoufázového výzkumu, konkrétně tematická analýza. Výsledky analýzy identifikovaly čtyři témata – Stereotyp, Odstup, Vnímání profesionála, Obava z transparentnosti, která nejvíce limitují majitele v rozhodování o procesu nástupnictví formou profesionalizace. Jejich vzájemný vztah byl popsán na modelu vývoje přístupu majitele. Práce má praktický přínos pro manažery a majitele rodinných firem, kteří se zabývají otázkou nástupnictví. |

| Abstract: | The bachelor thesis deals with family firms, specifically the issue of succession process in the form of professionalization. The aim of the thesis is to investigate the factors that prevent the owners of family firms in the Czech Republic from professionalization. In order to fulfil the aim of the thesis, a qualitative two-stage research method was chosen, namely thematic analysis. The results of the analysis identified four themes - Stereotype, Distance, Perception of the professional, and Fear of transparency - that most limit owners in their decision making process of succession through professionalization. Their inter-relationship was described on the basis of the evolution of the owner's attitude. The paper has practical implications for managers and owners of family businesses who are dealing with the issue of succession. |
