| Abstract: | Diplomová práce se zabývá rolí divadla v české kulturní diplomacii. Hlavním cílem práce je zodpovědět výzkumnou otázku, zda je divadlo užívaným nástrojem pro šíření české kultury dále do světa. První kapitola se věnuje teoretickému vymezení kulturní diplomacie. Další části práce poté představují českou kulturní diplomacii a následně jsou analyzovány tři kulturní instituce věnující se mezinárodní spolupráci v oblasti divadla. Pro hlubší pochopení tématu byly kromě jiných užitých zdrojů v rámci práce vedeny i dva rozhovory s odborníky z divadelního odvětví. |

| Abstract: | The thesis deals with the role of theatre in Czech cultural diplomacy. The main aim of the thesis is to answer the research question of whether the theatre is a tool used for spreading Czech culture to the world. The first chapter is devoted to the theoretical definition of cultural diplomacy. The next parts of the thesis introduce Czech cultural diplomacy and then three cultural institutions dedicated to international cooperation in the field of theatre are analysed. In order to gain a deeper understanding of the topic, two interviews with experts from the theatre field were conducted in addition to other sources used in the thesis. |
