| Abstract: | V historii lidstva došlo k vytvoření omezeného počtu zbraní, které výrazně ovlivnily povahu konfliktů a strategie s nimi spojené. Jaderné zbraně představují revoluční strategii, kde samotný fakt jejich vlastnění má vliv na dynamiku mezinárodních her, aniž by bylo nutné je skutečně použít. Cílem této bakalářské práce je provedení rešerše článků zabývajících se jadernými konflikty. Výběr článků byl proveden z databáze ProQuest, která shromažďuje odborné texty. Aktuální konflikt na Ukrajině zvýšil diskuzi o jaderných zbraních, což poskytuje nový pohled na toto téma. V rámci této práce bylo analyzováno 42 článků, ve kterých bylo popsáno 32 modelů vytvořených autory. Práce se zaměřuje na základní problémy spojené s jadernými zbraněmi, jako jsou závody ve zbrojení, brinkmanship a v neposlední řadě odstrašování. Články byly klasifikovány podle geografických oblastí, kterými se zabývají. Pokud články nebyly zaměřeny na konkrétní region, byly rozděleny podle konfliktu, který analyzují. |

| Abstract: | Human history has seen the creation of a limited number of weapons that have significantly influenced the nature of conflict and the strategies associated with it. Nuclear weapons represent a revolutionary strategy, where the mere fact of their possession affects the dynamics of international games without the need to actually use them. The aim of this thesis is to conduct a search of articles dealing with nuclear conflicts. The selection of articles was made from the ProQuest database, which collects scholarly texts. The current conflict in Ukraine has increased the discussion on nuclear weapons, providing a new perspective on the topic. Forty-two articles were analysed in this thesis, describing 32 models created by the authors. The thesis focuses on fundamental issues related to nuclear weapons such as arms race, brinkmanship and last but not least deterrence. The papers have been classified according to the geographical areas they deal with. Where articles did not focus on a specific region, they were categorized according to the conflict they analysed. |
