| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou karibské krize a jejího vlivu na mezinárodní vztahy. V práci je analyzován historický kontext studené války a průběh karibské krize. Analýzou případu karibské krize práce odpoví na výzkumnou otázku: Jakým způsobem změnila karibská krize pohled na řešení mezinárodních konfliktů? Výsledky se zaměřují na změnu mezinárodních vztahů a změnu dynamiky studené války po karibské krizi. Práce se také zaměřuje na vyvození lekcí pro řešení vojenských krizí v mezinárodním prostředí. Hodnotícím prvkem pro analýzu změny mezinárodních vztahů jsou změna uvažování ohledně použití jaderných zbraní, uzavírání smluv v oblasti odzbrojování, diplomacie a celková atmosféra v rámci studené války. |

| Abstract: | The thesis deals with the effect of Cuban Missile Crisis on the international relations during Cold War. It analyzes historical context of the Cold War and the events of Cuban Missile Crisis. Study answers the research question: How did the Cuban Missile Crisis change the way of resolving international conflicts? Results of this thesis focus on the change of international relations and the change of Cold War dynamics. It also draws lessons from crisis for dealing with international conflicts. The criteria of research of change are as follows: the change of use of nuclear weapons, international treaties on arms control, diplomacy and overall atmosphere during Cold War. |
