| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou udržitelnosti a CSR aktivit v zasilatelství. Cílem práce je porovnávání a analýza ESG reportů zasílatelských společností – DHL a FedEx, a následné prověření jejich dopadu na okolní prostředí a společnost. Sekundárním cílem je aplikování strategií velkých přepravních společností a nabídnutí konkrétních doporučení pro střední a menší přepravní firmy v České republice na příkladu české přepravní společnosti Zásilkovny. První kapitola vysvětluje tři základní teorie CSR - Carrollův model CSR, teorie trojitého výsledku, teorie stakeholderů, a další důležité pojmy: ISO normy, standardy GRI, SDG, ESG kritéria. Druhá kapitola se zabývá vysvětlením dalších důležitých pojmů v zasilatelství jako jsou intermodální, multimodální a kombinované typy přeprav a jejich CO2 emise, směrnice CSRD a možné dopady a rizika s tím spojené. Třetí kapitola je zaměřena na porovnání zasílatelských společností DHL a FedEx pomocí zkoumání ESG reportů, sociálních sítí a jaký to ve výsledku má dopad na zákazníky společností. V poslední kapitole jsou nabídnuty doporučení pro Zásilkovnu na základě ESG reportů od DHL a FedExu. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor thesis addresses the issue of sustainability and CSR activities in the logistics industry. The aim of the thesis is to compare and analyze the ESG reports of logistics companies, namely DHL and FedEx, and subsequently examine their impact on the environment and society. The secondary objective is to apply strategies used by large companies and provide specific recommendations for medium and small firms from Czech Republic, using the case of the Czech logistics company Zásilkovna. The first chapter explains three fundamental CSR theories: Carroll's CSR model, the triple bottom line theory, the stakeholder theory, and other important concepts such as ISO standards, GRI standards, SDGs, and ESG criteria. The second chapter focuses on explaining other important concepts in the logistics industry, such as intermodal, multimodal, and combined modes of transportation and their CO2 emissions, the CSRD directive, and potential risks from it. The third chapter compares the logistics and shipping companies DHL and FedEx through an examination of their ESG reports, social networks, and the resulting impact on company customers. The fourth chapter provides recommendations for Zásilkovna based on the ESG reports from DHL and FedEx. |
