| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá sportovní diplomacií Českého olympijského výboru. Cílem této práce je zanalyzovat zahraničněpolitické aktivity Českého olympijského výboru v rámci sportovní diplomacie České republiky a následně se blíže zaměřit na aktivity ČOV v rámci Olympijského hnutí. Práce stojí na teoretickém rámci, který se věnuje veřejné diplomacii a konceptu měkké síly, dále se autorka věnuje sportovní diplomacii, jejím nástrojům a pak zejména jejím aktérům. Samotný výzkum zahrnoval analýzu oficiálních dokumentů vydaných příslušnými zkoumanými organizacemi, včetně Mezinárodního olympijského výboru, Českého olympijského výboru, a také projektu Index politické moci ve sportu a dalších. Druhá fáze výzkumu proběhla prostřednictvím rozhovoru s ředitelkou mezinárodního úseku ČOV, s Veronikou Zemanovou. Na základě výzkumu byly charakterizovány zahraničněpolitické počiny Českého olympijského výboru v oblasti sportovní diplomacie, dále byly zanalyzovány aktivity ČOV v oblasti prosazování zástupců českého sportovního prostředí do evropských a mezinárodních struktur a v oblasti podpory českých sportovců a sportovních organizací prostřednictvím projektů Olympijské solidarity. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor thesis deals with sports diplomacy of the Czech Olympic Committee. The aim of this thesis is to analyse the foreign policy activities of the Czech Olympic Committee within the framework of sports diplomacy of the Czech Republic and then to focus on the activities of the Czech Olympic Committee within the Olympic Movement. The thesis is based on a theoretical framework that focuses on public diplomacy and the concept of soft power, then the author discusses sports diplomacy, its instruments and then especially its actors. The research itself involved an analysis of official documents issued by the respective organisations under study, including the International Olympic Committee, the Czech Olympic Committee, and the Political Power in Sport Index project, among others. The second phase of the research was conducted through an interview with Veronika Zemanova, Director of the International Department of the COC. The research was used to characterise the foreign policy activities of the Czech Olympic Committee in the field of sports diplomacy, and to analyse the activities of the COC in the field of advocacy for Czech sports representatives in European and international structures and in the field of support for Czech athletes and sports organisations through Olympic Solidarity projects. |
