| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá teorií vlivu jednotlivce na mezinárodní vztahy na specifickém případu Huga Grotia. Logická struktura praktické části je členěna na tři sektory: na Grotiovy převzaté myšlenky a jejich interpretaci, na jeho vlastní koncepty a na jeho přesah do dnešní doby. Prostřednictvím primárních pramenů, tedy samotné tvorby Huga Grotia, se zjišťuje, jak velký byl jeho vliv na utváření mezinárodních vztahů v novověku a z čeho můžeme čerpat do dnes. Z výzkumu vyplývá, že mnohé koncepty dnešního mezinárodního práva staví na principech zkoumaných Hugem Grotiem, a že jeho dílo je v dnešní rychle se rozvíjející době stále relevantní. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor thesis deals with the theory of an individual’s influence on international relations and provides an example of the specific case of Hugo Grotius. The logical structure of the practical part is divided into three sections: Grotius‘ adopted ideas and their interpretation, his own concepts and his extension to the present day. Through primary sources, i.e., the work of Hugo Grotius himself, it is determined how great his influence was on the formation of international relations in the modern age and what we can draw from it to this day. The research shows that many concepts of today’s international law are based on the principles explored by Hugo Grotius, and that his work is still relevant in today’s rapidly developing era. |
