| Abstract: | Cílem této práce je zhodnotit trendy a identifikovat hlavní problémy ve zdraví a poskytování zdravotní péče v Nepálu mezi lety 2000–2022. K naplnění cíle je provedena jak rešerše existující literatury, tak analýza sekundárních dat získaných ze Světové banky od roku 2000 vždy do posledního dostupného roku příslušného ukazatele, a dále byly rovněž provedeny hloubkové rozhovory se zástupci klíčových poskytovatelů zdravotní péče v Nepálu. Tyto analýzy byly provedeny pro šestnáct hlavních trendů a problémů v poskytování zdravotní péče v Nepálu. Z výsledků vyplývá, že v osmi z těchto trendů dosáhla země za sledované období pokroku a sedm z nich stále zůstává překážkou ve zdejším poskytování zdravotní péče. V jednom z trendů nelze pokrok Nepálu jednoznačně vyhodnotit. |

| Abstract: | The aim of this thesis is to evaluate trends and identify main problems in health and healthcare delivery in Nepal between 2000 and 2022. To meet the aim, both a review of existing literature and an analysis of secondary data obtained from the World Bank from 2000 to the last available year of the relevant indicator are carried out, as well as in-depth interviews with representatives of key Nepalese healthcare providers. These analyses were conducted for sixteen major trends and problems in healthcare delivery in Nepal. The results show that in eight of these trends, the country has made progress over the reporting period, and seven of them remain an obstacle to the healthcare delivery. In one of the trends, Nepal’s progress cannot be clearly evaluated. |
