| Abstract: | Tato diplomová práce se zaměřuje na posouzení vlivu mezinárodní sportovní události na návštěvnost a příjmy z cestovního ruchu v Praze. Pomocí kvantitativního dotazníkového šetření, které zahrnovalo 163 respondentů, byla zkoumána atraktivita vybrané sportovní události a její dlouhodobý dopad na obraz Prahy jako turistické destinace. Analýza dat ukázala významné rozdíly v úrovni spokojenosti mezi různými demografickými skupinami a potvrdila silný pozitivní vztah mezi spokojeností s událostí a pravděpodobností jejího doporučení. Výsledky také ukazují, že vnímání přínosu sportovní události pro město má významný dopad na celkový obraz města. Práce poskytuje cenný rámec pro pochopení dynamiky hodnocení účastníky a jejich vlivu na obraz hostitelského města a může sloužit jako výchozí bod pro budoucí výzkum v oblasti. |

| Abstract: | This thesis deals with the evaluation of the influence of international sport event on the number of visitors and tourism revenues in Prague. A quantitative questionnaire survey, in which 163 people participated, was used to examine the attractiveness of the selected sporting event and its long-term impact on the image of Prague as a tourist destination. Data analysis revealed significant differences in satisfaction levels between different demographic groups and confirmed a strong positive relationship between satisfaction with an event and the likelihood of recommending it to others. The results also show that the perception of a sporting event's contribution to the city has a significant impact on the city's overall image. The work provides a valuable framework for understanding the dynamics of attendee evaluations and their impact on host city image, and can serve as a starting point for future research in this area. |
