| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce se zabývá tématem zlatých rezerv Česka s primárním cílem představit celkovou historii, současnost a predikce budoucího vývoje. První kapitola definuje pojem zlato a především jeho roli v peněžním systému v podobě platidla nebo zlaté rezervy. Druhá kapitola se přímo zabývá historií zlatých rezerv na českém území. V první části je vysvětleno, jaké události vedly ke vzniku rezerv, jak byly vytvořeny a kdo za jejich vytvořením stál. Druhá část zachycuje postupné odcizení zlatých rezerv před a v průběhu 2. světové války a v poslední části je představena dlouhá a náročná cesta návratu části odcizených rezerv. Třetí kapitola je o osudu zlatých rezerv po pádu socialismu a o prodeji značného množství zlata, vůči kterému vyjádřily svůj názor vybraní současní i budoucí představitelé České národní banky. V závěru třetí kapitoly je představen postoj ke zlatým rezervám současného guvernéra ČNB Aleše Michla. |

| Abstract: | The bachelor thesis deals with the topic of gold reserves of the Czech Republic with the primary aim of presenting the overall history, present and prediction of future development. The first chapter defines the concept of gold and especially its role in the monetary system in the form of a tender of payment or gold reserves. The second chapter deals directly with the history of gold reserves on Czech territory. The first part explains what events led to the creation of the reserves, how they were created and who was behind the creation. The second part depicts the gradual theft of the gold reserves before and during World War II, and the last part presents the long and arduous journey to recover some of the stolen reserves. The third chapter is about the fate of the gold reserves after the fall of communismand and about the sale of a considerable amount of gold, against which selected present and future officials of the Czech National Bank expressed their opinion. The third chapter concludes with a presentation of the attitude towards gold reserves of the new CNB governor, Aleš Michl |
