| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na devizové intervence jako jeden z nástrojů měnové politiky země. Teoretická část popisuje vývoj devizového trhu a definuje jeho hlavní účastníky, jejich funkce a motivaci ke vstupu. Zahrnuje také technickou stránku devizového trhu. Dále definuje pojem devizových intervencí a způsob jejich provádění na základě stanovených cílů. Teoretická část je zakončena srovnáním kurzových režimů na základě významu devizových intervencí v každém z nich. Praktická část je věnována analýze, jakou roli hrají měnové intervence a zda mohou přispět k tomu, že se země dostane do krizové situace. |

| Abstract: | The bachelor thesis focuses on foreign exchange interventions as one of the instruments of the monetary policy of the country. The theoretical part describes the development of the foreign exchange market and defines its main participants, their functions and motivation to enter. It also includes the technical side of the foreign exchange market. It also defines the concept of foreign exchange interventions and how they are implemented on the basis of established objectives. The theoretical part is concluded by comparing exchange rate regimes based on the importance of foreign exchange interventions in each of them. The practical part is devoted to the analysis of the role of monetary interventions and whether they can contribute to the country getting into a crisis situation. |
