| Abstract: | Cílem této práce je představit ucelený pohled na systém stínového bankovnictví v kontextu současného vývoje. Tato práce je zaměřena na vznik samotného pojmu stínové bankovnictví, jeho definici na bázi subjektů i činností a identifikaci a popis charakteristických subjektů a jednotlivých činností. Dále je práce zaměřena na popis pozitivních a negativních aspektů, které jsou se stínovým bankovním systémem spojeny. Součástí druhé kapitoly je také popis aktuálního trendu ve vývoji stínového bankovnictví ve světě a v Evropské unii na základě údajů uvedených v každoročních publikací FSB a ESRB. Poslední kapitola je věnována aktuálnímu přístupu regulatorních autorit ke stínovému bankovnictví ve světě a v Evropské unii. |

| Abstract: | The aim of this thesis is to introduce overview of the shadow banking system in the context of an actual development. This thesis is focused on the origin of the term shadow banking, on its definition in regards to entities and activities and on the detailed description of its entities and activities. The next chapter of the thesis is focused on positive and negative aspects of the shadow banking system that are associated with this system. There is also a description of actual trends in the development of the shadow banking system in the world and in the European Union. The data is collected from annual publications of ESRB and FSB. The last chapter is focused on actual approach of regulatory authorities to shadow banking system in the world and also in the European Union. |
