It mentions the factors that can lead to material uncertainty regarding the threat to the validity of this assumption. The methods of dealing with insolvency are also discussed in detail, including their accounting implications and the need to prepare extraordinary or interim financial statements. Another important chapter is devoted to bankruptcy models and financial analysis ratios, which are valuable tools in predicting the health of a business and evaluating it during performing business activities, not only for entrepreneurs but also for auditors. In the final part of the thesis the analysis of Müller Technik CZ s.r.o. is carried out with a focus on the going concern principle. According to the IN95 bankruptcy model, the health of the company was definitely not satisfactory, especially during the coronavirus pandemic and the crisis afterwards. Serious problems were indicated. Although the German parent company was able to obtain support from one of its customers in the form of a rehabilitation contribution, it was nevertheless necessary to resort to decisive measures and, in the end, even to the sale of the entire business. |
