| Abstract: | Tato diplomová práce zkoumá a analyzuje koncept decentralizované autonomní organizace (DAO) jako potenciální nástroj pro řízení organizací. Jejím hlavním cílem je posoudit obecnou vhodnost DAO pro řízení tradičních organizací a identifikovat, v čem přináší zlepšení oproti stávajícím organizačním modelům. Práce se zaměřuje na zkoumání principů a funkcí tradičních organizačních modelů a analyzuje klíčové charakteristiky bitcoinového blockchainu a jeho propojení s ethereovým blockchainem. Na základě toho je důkladně rozebrán koncept DAO včetně jeho přínosů a potenciálních nevýhod. Praktická část práce provádí srovnání DAO s tradičními organizačními systémy, zohledňujícími aspekty jako decentralizace, transparentnost, náklady a rizika. Závěr práce zdůrazňuje klíčové přínosy DAO, jako je vyšší míra demokratického rozhodování a snížené transakční náklady, ale také upozorňuje na technické a právní výzvy spojené s tímto konceptem. Tato práce tak nabízí důležité pohledy pro profesionály zabývající se řízením organizací a hledající inovativní přístupy v této oblasti. |

| Abstract: | This thesis explores and analyses the concept of the decentralised autonomous organisation (DAO) as a potential tool for managing organisations. Its main objective is to assess the general suitability of the DAO for the management of traditional organisations and to identify where it brings improvements over existing organisational models. The thesis focuses on exploring the principles and functions of traditional organisational models and analyses the key characteristics of the bitcoin blockchain and its interconnection with the Ethereum blockchain. Based on this, the DAO concept is thoroughly discussed, including its benefits and potential drawbacks. The practical part of the paper makes a comparison of DAOs with traditional organizational systems, taking into account aspects such as decentralization, transparency, costs and risks. The paper concludes by highlighting the key benefits of DAOs, such as increased democratic decision-making and reduced transaction costs, but also highlights the technical and legal challenges associated with the concept. Thus, this thesis offers important insights for professionals involved in the governance of organizations seeking innovative approaches in this area. |
