| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce se zabývá komparací systému podpory rodin s dětmi v České republice a ve Velké Británii v letech 2019-2021. Hlavním cílem práce bylo porovnání nastavení systému podpory rodin s dětmi za pomocí objemu získaných finančních prostředků vůči průměrné mzdě a struktury výdajů na vybrané dávky v poměru k hrubému domácímu produktu. V teoretické části práce je vyzdvihnuta rodinná politika a její vývoj, sociální politika a její vývoj a pilíře sociálního systému. Dále se pak práce zabývá základními demografickými pojmy a v neposlední řadě populační ekonomií. V praktické části dochází k analýze dávek, které spadají pod podporu rodin s dětmi ve vybraných zemích. Následně je využita metoda modelových rodin, kdy je ke každé konkrétní rodině vypočítána výše dávky, na kterou mají nárok. Následná komparace je pak provedena na základě získaných finančních prostředků rodin vůči průměrné mzdě. Nejvíce finanční podpory získávají rodiny s malými dětmi v obou zemích. V ČR chybí finanční podpora služeb pro rodiny s dětmi. Dále je provedena komparace výdajů v poměru k hrubému domácímu produktu. Z této komparace plyne, že ČR vynakládá větší množství veřejných zdrojů na peněžitou pomoc v mateřství než Velká Británie, u obou zemí však tyto výdaje každoročně rostou. |

| Abstract: | The bachelor thesis deals with the comparison of the system of support for families with children in the Czech Republic and the UK in 2019-2021. The main objective of the thesis was to compare the setup of the system of support for families with children using the volume of funds received in relation to the average wage and the structure of expenditure on selected benefits in relation to gross domestic product. The theoretical part of the thesis highlights family policy and its development, social policy and its development and the pillars of the social system. Then the thesis deals with basic demographic concepts and, last but not least, population economics. The practical part analyses the benefits that fall under the support of families with children in selected countries. Subsequently, the method of model families is used, where the amount of the benefit to which they are entitled is calculated for each specific family. A subsequent comparison is then made on the basis of the families' financial resources obtained against the average wage. Families with young children receive the most financial support in both countries. There is a lack of financial support for services for families with children in the Czech Republic. A comparison of expenditure in relation to gross domestic product is also made. This comparison shows that the Czech Republic spends more public resources on maternity cash assistance than the UK, but that this expenditure is increasing year on year in both countries. |
