| Abstract: | Tato diplomová práce se zabývá empirickým testováním vztahu mezi profitabilitou společností a jejich tržními násobiteli. Cílem bylo zjistit, jestli výše ukazatelů profitability společností ovlivňuje jejich tržní násobitele. V teoretické části jsou popsány zkoumané ukazatele rentability a tržní násobitele. Praktická část obsahuje statistické testování vztahu vybraných ukazatelů rentability a tržních násobitelů pomocí Spearmanova korelačního koeficientu. Vztah byl zkoumán v rámci evropského trhu, vybraných zemí a odvětví. |

| Abstract: | This thesis is focused on empirical testing of the relationship between the profitability of companies and their market multiples. The aim was to find out whether the level of profitability ratios of companies affects their market multiples. The theoretical part describes the profitability ratios and market multiples examined. The practical part includes statistical testing of the relationship between the selected profitability indicators and market multiples using Spearman's correlation coefficient. The relationship has been examined within the European market, selected countries and industries. |
