| Abstract: | Diplomová práce se zabývá vývojem robotické automatizace procesů (RPA) a jejím dopadem na auditorskou profesi. Nejprve popisuje proces robotizace jako takový, včetně jeho možného budoucího vývoje, ale zabývá se i propojením IT a finančního sektoru. Hlavním zaměřením práce je obor auditingu, kterému se věnuje 2. kapitola. Poté, co je blíže popsáno, jaké technologie se v auditu využívají dnes, se diplomová práce zabývá praktickou aplikací robota na konkrétním příkladě, ve kterém stanovuje vlastní metodiku pro vývoj řešení RPA a po finální implementaci daného řešení měří dopady robota na operace auditního týmu. |

| Abstract: | The topic of the diploma thesis is the evolution of robotic process automation (RPA) and its influence on the audit profession. In the introductory chapter, the process of robotization is described in general, including its possible future developments. Moreover, attention is drawn to the connection between IT and the financial sector. The focus of the thesis is, however, the field of external audit which is studied in chapter 2. After the examination of the technology implemented in audit today, the paper describes the application of an example of RPA on a particular audit engagement, developing its own methodology for the design process and measuring the impact of the robot’s implementation on the operations of the audit team. |
