| Abstract: | Diplomová práce se zabývá specifikacemi supply chainu a řízení zásob v módním průmyslu, konkrétně jak módní průmysl svým dynamickým vývojem tlačí vývoj agilního supply chainu. Práce popisuje vývoj trendů jak v módě, tak ve společnosti a jak ovlivňuje firmy působící v módním průmyslu, které se snaží držet krok. Cílem této diplomové práce je revize aktuálního konceptu řízení zásob ve vybrané společnosti prostřednictvím ABC analýzy. V práci je detailně rozebrán příběh vybrané společnosti a její začátky, růst, současný stav a provoz na skladě. Teoretická část se věnuje základní terminologií jako móda, trendy a jejich tvorba a supply chain módního průmyslu. Praktická část se věnuje případové studii o společnosti Footshop a následně ABC analýze, interpretaci výsledků a několika doporučením autora. |

| Abstract: | The diploma thesis deals with the specifications of the supply chain and inventory management in the fashion industry, specifically how the dynamic development of the fashion industry pushes the evolution of an agile supply chain. The work describes the development of trends both in fashion and in society and how it affects companies operating in the fashion industry, which are trying to keep up. The aim of this diploma thesis is to review the current concept of inventory management in a selected company through ABC analysis. The thesis provides a detailed account of the chosen company's story, its beginnings, growth, and current state, as well as its warehouse operations. The theoretical part is devoted to basic terminology such as fashion, trends, their creation, and the fashion industry's supply chain. The practical part focuses on a case study about the Footshop company, followed by an ABC analysis, interpretation of the results, and several recommendations by the author. |
