| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce má za cíl čtenáře seznámit s problematikou kryptoměn a pomoct mu pochopit základní principy v jejich technologii. Práce začíná základním seznámením s pojmem kryptoměny a jejich technologickým základem, blockchainem, s jeho generacemi a případnými nedostatky. V následující části je provedena analýza historických dat na základě které je sestavováno portfolio, jenž bude dále zkoumáno. Záměrem je posoudit, zda mohou kryptoměny sloužit jako investiční nástroj i k pasivnímu investování. K závěru práce jsou kryptoměnová portfolia srovnána s dalšími investičními nástroji. |

| Abstract: | The bachelor's thesis aims to acquaint the reader with the issues of cryptocurrencies and assist in comprehending the fundamental principles underlying their technology. The thesis commences by providing a basic introduction to the concept of cryptocurrencies and their technological foundation, blockchain, including its generations and potential shortcomings. Subsequently, an analysis of historical data is conducted to formulate a portfolio, which is subsequently scrutinized. The intention is to evaluate whether cryptocurrencies can serve as an investment instrument and for passive investing. Towards the conclusion of the thesis, cryptocurrency portfolios are compared with other investment instruments. |
