| Abstract: | Práce se zabývala vlivem Hurstova exponentu na úspěšnost metod předvídání cen aktiv. Nejprve byly popsány dosavadní znalosti a základní teorie (metody stanovení Hurstova exponentu, časové řady s dlouhou pamětí, indikátory technické analýzy) potřebná ke zpracování dat. Následně byly vybrané poznatky aplikovány na reálných datech z oblasti finančních trhů. Vliv Hurstova exponentu se potvrdil na vybraných metodách momentových a reverzních investičních strategiích. |

| Abstract: | The thesis were address the influence of the Hurst exponent on the effectiveness of prediction methods for asset prices. Initially, existing knowledge and fundamental theories (methods of determining the Hurst exponent, time series with long memory, technical analysis indicators) necessary for data processing was described. Subsequently, the selected findings were applied to real financial market data. The influence of the Hurst Exponent has been confirmed on selected Momentum and reversal investment strategies. |
