| Abstract: | Tato diplomová práce se věnuje tématu implementace ESG (environmental, social, corporate governance) ve finančním sektoru a jeho vybraných segmentech v České republice. Hlavním cílem, kromě popisu procesu implementace je prezentace možného výpočtu uhlíkové stopy z poskytnutých hypotečních úvěrů a analýza dopadu energetické náročnosti a poměru Loan to Value (dále jen „LTV“) na velikost financované uhlíkové stopy. Z výsledků analýz zkoumaných hypotéz vyplývá, že celkové množství financovaných emisí v portfoliu dané banky tvoří relativně vyšší počet úvěrů na nemovitosti klasifikované ve stupni energetické náročnosti od A do D. Také lze konstatovat, že čím vyšší energetická náročnost nemovitosti a vyšší hodnota poměru LTV, tím vyšší je hodnota financovaných emisí prostřednictvím hypotečního úvěru. |

| Abstract: | This diploma thesis deals with ESG implementation in financial sector and within its selected segments in the Czech Republic. The main aim of this thesis is to present a possible approach to calculation of carbon footprint from the granted mortgage loans and also to analyze the impact of energy intensity and the LTV ratio on the financed carbon footprint. The results of the analyses show that the total number of financed carbon footprint in the bank´s portfolio consists of relatively higher number of mortgage loans classified in the energy efficiency level from A to D. It was also found that higher energy demand of the property and higher LTV ratio, the higher is the value of the financed carbon footprint through the mortgage loan. |
