| Abstract: | Tato diplomová práce se zabývá procesem release a deployment management. V práci se definuje význam tohoto procesu, přínos pro byznys a jaké jsou hlavní aktivity, principy a fáze, které se s ním pojí. To vše je realizováno za účelem identifikování best practice, hlavně z ITIL. V práci jsou tyto nejlepší praktiky zaznamenané ve formě tabulky a využité pro komparaci se zavedeným procesem ve vybrané bankovní instituci. Zvolená banka je v práci představena anonymně a následně je již popsán aktuální stav analyzovaného procesu v ní. Během analyzování aktuálního stavu procesu a komparaci s best practice jsou definována slabá místa, která jsou vhodná k vytvoření návrhu na zlepšení. Tyto návrhy jsou v práci ověřeny s vybranými stakeholdery, aby byla zhodnocená jejich smysluplnost. Po ověření dochází i k zavedení určitých návrhů. |

| Abstract: | This thesis focuses on the process of release and deployment management. The paper defines the meaning of this process, the value for business as well as the main activities, principles, and phases associated with it. All this is implemented to identify best practices mainly from ITIL. In the thesis, these best practices are recorded as a table and used for comparison with the established process in the selected banking institution. The chosen bank is presented anonymously, and the current state of the analyzed process is described. During the analysis of the current state of the process and comparison with best practice, weak points are identified and defined, which are suitable for creating a proposal for improvement. These proposals are verified at the bank institution, with selected stakeholders to evaluate their meaningfulness. After verification, several proposals are introduced and implemented. |
