| Abstract: | Práce se zabývá zhodnocením ekonomického vývoje společnosti Velteko s.r.o. a návrhem finanční strategie pro tuto společnost. K tomuto účelu byly využity nástroje finanční analýzy. V první části práce jsou zpracovány teoretické podklady pro zpracování finanční analýzy. Druhá část obsahuje analýzu samotnou. Finanční analýza se skládá ze strukturální a trendové analýzy rozvahy a výkazu zisku a ztrát a analýzy pracovního kapitálu a dále z analýzy výkonnosti podniku – ta obsahuje analýzu poměrových ukazatelů, rozklad DuPont a výpočet ekonomického zisku. Z finanční analýzy vyplynuly hlavní silné a slabé stránky podniku. V závěru je vše uvedeno do souvislostí a na základě toho je určeno, na které oblasti by se firma měla zaměřit a jakým způsobem. V závěru jsou rovněž navržena konkrétní doporučení a kroky, ke kterým by firma měla přistoupit za účelem eliminace svých slabých stránek a zvýšení své hodnoty. |

| Abstract: | The thesis deals with the evaluation of the economic development of Velteko s.r.o. and the proposal of a financial strategy for this company. For this purpose financial analysis tools were used. In the first part of the thesis the theoretical background for the financial analysis is presented. The second part contains the analysis itself. The financial analysis consists of a structural and trend analysis of the balance sheet and profit and loss statement and a working capital analysis, as well as an analysis of the company's performance – this includes an analysis of ratios, the DuPont decomposition and the calculation of economic profit. The financial analysis revealed the main strengths and weaknesses of the company. In the conclusion, everything is put into context and, based on this, it is determined which areas the company should focus on and how. The conclusion also suggests specific recommendations and steps that the firm should take in order to eliminate its weaknesses and increase its value. |
