| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce zkoumá obchodní vztahy mezi Evropskou Unií a členskými státy ASEAN, s důrazem na obchodní a finanční toky z EU do ASEAN, Singapuru a Vietnamu. Zaměřuje se na Singapur a Vietnam, jejichž odlišné charakteristiky přitahují zájem zahraničních investorů. Cílem práce je identifikovat vliv obchodní integrace na EU v těchto oblastech. Práce je rozdělena do tří hlavních částí. První část utváří teoretický základ pomocí definování pojmů jako liberalismus, protekcionismus a přímé zahraniční investice. V druhé části je analyzována spolupráce mezi EU a ASEAN včetně jednotlivých obchodních dohod. Následně je proveden detailní průzkum obchodních toků a přímých investic ve vybraných zemích po uzavření dohod. |

| Abstract: | The bachelor thesis examines trade relations between the European Union and ASEAN member states, with an emphasis on trade and financial flows from the EU to ASEAN, Singapore and Vietnam. It focuses on Singapore and Vietnam, whose distinct characteristics attract the interest of foreign investors. The aim of the paper is to identify the impact of trade integration on the EU in these areas. The thesis is divided into three main parts. The first part forms the theoretical basis by defining concepts such as liberalism, protectionism and foreign direct investment. The second part analyses the cooperation between the EU and ASEAN, including individual trade agreements. Subsequently, a detailed survey of trade flows and FDI in selected countries after the agreements is conducted. |
