| Abstract: | Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na teoretickou a praktickou analýzu determinantů cen ropy, pšenice a zlata. V teoretické části jsou diskutovány existující teorie vzácnosti, vyčerpatelnosti a výsledky studií zkoumající ceny komodit. Dále jsou zkoumány komoditní burzy, komoditní indexy, komoditní kontrakty či jejich účastníci. V praktické části je sestaveno 6 ekonometrických modelů pomocí metody nejmenších čtverců. V modelech se projevily jako statisticky významné reálné efektivní směnný kurz a reálná úroková míra. |

| Abstract: | The master's thesis focuses on the theoretical and practical analysis of the determinants of crude oil, wheat, and gold prices. In the theoretical section, existing theories of scarcity, exhaustibility, and the outcomes of studies investigating commodity prices are discussed. Additionally, commodity exchanges, commodity indexes, commodity contracts, and their participants are examined. The practical section involves the construction of six econometric models using the ordinary least squares method. Real effective exchange rates and real interest rates emerged as statistically significant factors in those models. |
