| Abstract: | Cílem této bakalářské práce je identifikovat dopad pandemie COVID-19 na trh práce v okresu Praha-východ. V práci je využívána metoda komparace v letech 2017-2022. Práce se věnuje samotnému trhu práce, a to konkrétně vývoji míry nezaměstnanosti v předpandemickém období, období během pandemie a období po skončení účinnosti protipandemických opatření. V rámci práce je pozornost soustředěna na celou Českou republiku, Středočeský kraj a okres Praha-východ. V rámci práce jsou také analyzovány změny v počtu uchazečů o zaměstnání na Úřadu práce ČR, s ohledem na pohlaví. Analýza na základě využití dat Českého statistického úřadu umožnila zjištění, že pandemie COVID-19 způsobila pokles zaměstnanosti a negativně ovlivnila trh práce v okrese Praha-východ. Důležité je ale vzít v potaz, že ačkoli pandemie trh práce v tomto okresu negativně ovlivnila, stále se jedná o okres v ČR s nejnižší mírou nezaměstnanosti. Zároveň, dle vývoje počtu uchazečů na Úřadu práce zasáhla pandemie napříč ČR, Středočeským kraje a okresem Praha-východ daleko více ženy než muže. |

| Abstract: | The aim of this bachelor thesis is to identify the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the labour market in the Prague-East district. The thesis uses the method of comparison in the years 2017-2022. The thesis focuses on the labour market itself, specifically on the evolution of the unemployment rate in the pre-pandemic period, the period during the pandemic and the period after the end of the effectiveness of the anti-pandemic measures. The focus of the work is on the entire Czech Republic, the Central Bohemian Region and the Prague-East district. The thesis also analyses changes in the number of job seekers at the Labour Office of the Czech Republic with respect to gender. The analysis, based on the use of data from the Czech Statistical Office, enabled the finding that the COVID-19 pandemic caused a decline in employment and negatively affected the labour market in the Prague-East district. However, it is important to take into account that although the pandemic negatively affected the labour market in this district, it is still the district in the Czech Republic with the lowest unemployment rate. At the same time, according to the trend in the number of candidates at the Labour Office, the pandemic affected women far more than men across the Czech Republic, the Central Bohemian Region and the Prague-East district. |
