| Abstract: | Tato diplomová práce se zabývá tématem insolvencí a analýzou finančních charakteristik podniků před vyhlášením úpadku. Práce má za účel nastínit oblast úpadkového práva v České republice, včetně aktuálních témat v oblasti insolvenčních řízení. Vzorek společností analyzovaných v praktická části práce se skládá z právnických osob, které v letech 2021 a 2022 upadly do insolvence. Cílem práce je nastínit vývoj finančních ukazatelů vybraných společností a také zhodnotit, zda je možné blížící se bankrot odhadnout pomocí vybraných souhrnných modelů hodnocení finančního zdraví podniku. V práci je bližší pozornost věnována společnostem, které známky blížícího se bankrotu před zjištěním úpadku nevykazovaly. Stejně tak je pozornost věnována i těm společnostem, které dosahovaly v rámci vybraných modelů nepříznivých hodnot i více než 5 let před zjištěním o úpadku. Závěrem práce je porovnání dosažených hodnot analyzovaných společností v rámci jednotlivých vybraných modelů. S ohledem na dosažené výsledky je doporučeno věnovat náležitou pozornost specifikům analyzovaného podniku a výsledné hodnoty vždy poměřovat v kontextu. |

| Abstract: | This diploma thesis deals with the topic of insolvency and the analysis of the financial characteristics of companies before declaring bankruptcy. The purpose of this work is to outline the field of bankruptcy law in the Czech Republic, including current topics in the field of insolvency proceedings. The sample of companies analyzed in the practical part of the work consists of entities that declared bankruptcy in 2021 and 2022. The aim of the thesis is to outline the development of the financial indicators of selected companies before bankruptcy and also to determine, whether it is possible to estimate bankruptcy using selected summary models for assessing the financial health of the company. Closer attention is paid to companies that did not show signs of impending bankruptcy. In the same way, careful focus is directed towards those companies, which achieved unfavorable values within the framework of the selected models even more than 5 years before the discovery of bankruptcy. The conclusion of the work is a comparison of the achieved values of the analyzed companies within the individual selected models. With regard to the results of the analysis, it is recommended to pay attention to the specifics of the analyzed company and always measure the achieved values in context. |
