| Abstract: | Diplomová práce se zabývá rolí asistenta auditora v auditorské společnosti a při statutárním auditu účetní jednotky. Hlavním cílem práce je přiblížit, jak lze vnímat asistenta auditora uvnitř auditorské společnosti, jaké jsou jeho vztahy s auditorem a jaký má vliv na provádění a kvalitu auditu. V teoretické části je nejdříve v první kapitole vysvětleno, co je účelem statutárního auditu, rozdíly mezi ním a jinými druhy auditu a v neposlední řadě jeho význam pro širokou společnost. Na to navazuje kapitola druhá, která se zaobírá právní úpravou auditu a čím vším se auditoři a asistenti auditora musí při své činnosti řídit. Praktická část začíná třetí kapitolou, která shrnuje, jak se stát asistentem auditora, vliv asistenta na kvalitu auditu, jeho vztah s auditorem a s jeho zaměstnavatelem. Čtvrtá kapitola pak již popisuje, jaké fáze auditu během zakázky jsou a na jakých aktivitách se v rámci různých fází může asistent podílet. |

| Abstract: | The diploma thesis deals with a role of an audit assistant in an audit company and in a statutory audit of an entity. The main objective of the thesis is to present how an audit assistant can be perceived within the audit company, what are his relations with the auditor and what influence he has on audit and its quality. In the theoretical part, the first chapter explains what is the purpose of statutory audit, the differences between the types of audit and its importance for the general public. It is followed by chapter two, which deals with the legal regulation of the audit and what auditors and audit assistants have to comply with during their work. The practical part starts with chapter three, which summarises how to become an audit assistant, the impact of an assistant on the audit quality and his relationship with the auditor and its employer. The fourth chapter then describes phases of an audit engagement and in what activities assistant may be involved in during this engagement. |
