| Abstract: | Cílem diplomové práce je analyzovat vývoj amerického kapitálového trhu a nejvýznamnějších kryptoaktiv v posledních pěti letech. Teoretická část popisuje fungování kapitálového trhu, jeho subjektů a vliv Velké recese na kapitálové trhy v současnosti. Další úloha popisuje kryptoaktiva, jejich základní prvky a proces těžby. V praktické části kladu důraz na analýzu lineární závislosti vývoje takových instrumentů kapitálového trhu jako akcie, zlato a měny s vývojem ceny Bitcoinu, Ripplu a Etherea pomocí korelační analýzy. V závěrečné části poukazuji, zda je možné vybraná kryptoaktiva považovat za platební prostředky, komodity nebo investiční instrumenty pro zhodnocení peněz. |

| Abstract: | The aim of the thesis is to analyse the development of the US capital market and the most prominent cryptoassets in the last five years. The theoretical part describes the functioning of the capital market, its participants and the impact of the Great Recession on the capital markets nowadays. The next section explains cryptoassets, their main components and the process of mining. In the practical part, I emphasize the analysis of the linear dependence of the movement of such capital market instruments as stocks, gold and currencies with the development of the price of Bitcoin, Ripple and Ethereum using correlation analysis. In the final part, I point out if the selected cryptoassets can be considered as means of payment, commodities or investment instruments for putting money to work. |
