| Abstract: | Práce je věnována faktorům, které mohou způsobovat rozdíly v životní úrovni a rychlosti ekonomického růstu mezi různými státy. Za tímto účelem je vysvětlena podstata ekonomického růstu, jsou zkoumány jeho typy a modely, a to od prvních teorií až po ty moderní. Byly identifikovány hlavní faktory, které ovlivňují ekonomický růst. Rovněž byla provedena srovnávací analýza těchto faktorů pro Ukrajinu a Německo a byly identifikovány ty hlavní, které ovlivňují rozdíly v ekonomickém rozvoji těchto zemí. Důvodem ekonomického rozdílu mezi Ukrajinou a Německem jsou institucionální faktory, které jsou určujícími faktory ekonomického růstu. |

| Abstract: | The work is devoted to the study of the key reasons that can create differences in the standard of living and the speed of economic growth between different countries. For this purpose, the essence of economic growth is revealed, its types and models are considered, starting from early theories and ending with modern ones. The main factors that influence economic growth have been identified. Also, a comparative analysis of these factors for Ukraine and Germany was carried out and the main ones that affect the differences in economic development of these countries were determined. The reason of economic difference between Ukraine and Germany are institutional factors, which are the main factors of economic growth. |
