| Abstract: | Cílem této diplomové práce je zhodnotit regionální disparity v dostupnosti paliativní péče v krajích ČR. Práce se podrobněji zaměřuje na dostupnost paliativní péče v Královéhradeckém kraji, a to z hlediska jejích forem uplatňovaných v tomto kraji, financování a specifických požadavků na pracovní sílu. Práce přináší ucelený přehled o veřejných, potažmo zdravotních a sociálních službách v ČR v rámci teoretické části. V praktické části je pak blíže popsán stav paliativní péče v rámci ČR a v jednotlivých krajích s následným užším zaměřením na Královehradecký kraj. Vzhledem k trendu stárnutí populace je toto téma velmi důležité, protože se zvyšujícím se věkem se zvyšuje i riziko výskytu onkologických onemocnění. Právě onkologičtí pacienti jsou nejčastějšími pacienty v rámci paliativní péče. Z práce vyplývá, že mezi jednotlivými kraji existují zřetelné rozdíly v dostupnosti paliativní péče. To je dáno zejména neexistencí uceleného systému poskytování a financování paliativní péče. Dále také vyplývá, že existuje střední závislost mezi počtem onkologických pacientů a počtem zařízení paliativní péče a mezi počtem onkologických pacientů a počtem pacientů v mobilní hospicové péči. V závěru této práce jsou uvedena některá doporučení, která by mohla přispět ke zlepšení této situace. |

| Abstract: | The aim of this diploma thesis is to evaluate regional disparities in the availability of palliative care in the regions of the Czech Republic. The thesis is focused in detail on the availability of palliative care in the Hradec Králové region in terms of its forms applied in this region, financing and specific labour requirements. The theoretical part of the thesis provides a comprehensive overview of public services in the Czech Republic with a narrower focus on health and social services. The practical part describes the state of palliative care within the Czech Republic and in individual regions with a narrower focus on the Kralovehradecky region. Due to the trend of population aging, this topic is very popular, as the risk of cancer increases with increasing age. Cancer patients are the most frequent patients in palliative care. The paper shows that there are clear differences in the availability of palliative care between regions. This is mainly due to the lack of a coherent system for the provision and financing of palliative care. It also shows that there is a moderate relationship between the number of cancer patients and the number of palliative care facilities and between the number of cancer patients and the number of patients in mobile hospice care. This paper concludes with some recommendations that could help to improve this situation. |
