Nedílnou součástí práce je i popis historických souvislostí rozvoje používání mincí a bankovek na území Spojeného království. Práce také stručně představuje funkce, strukturu a priority současné Bank of England. |

The thesis also concisely introduces functions, structure and priorities of present-day Bank of England. |
